Information about Denia
Once we have chosen the car that best suits our needs, both in terms of capacity, style and time we will need, it will be time to plan all the routes we will do from Denia to the nearest towns.
Very close to Denia, for example, you have the Cabo de San Antonio seabed natural park. You can get there from the city centre by the road from Denia to Xàbia and the provincial road of Barranc del Monyo. It is a really incredible place if you are looking for scuba diving. There, you can go scuba diving and snorkelling.
For another day we suggest a trip to the inland village of Ondara. It is a little further away, by road, than our first track, but as it is a regional road we will get there sooner as it is in better condition. The road is the CV-75 and it will take us about 13 minutes to get there after a little more than 9 kilometres.
In Ondara we recommend you to visit the Clock Tower, the only one still standing from an old Muslim castle. Also the Azud, a stone dam, also of Muslim origin. It is a very cool place in summer and ideal to spend the afternoon as it is full of elm trees that populate the side of the ravine.
Jávea or Xàbia is one of the most important towns adjacent to Denia. It is about 20 minutes away by the CV-7361. The good thing about Denia is that it has a lot to show, both within short distances by car and in the surroundings, also with quick trips due to the proximity of the towns.
In the case of Jávea we would like to suggest the beaches of the town. We can find the following beaches: cova Tallà, cala de Pope, cala de Tangó, la Grava, el Benisero, el primer montañar, el Arenal, el segundo montañar, la Cala Blanca and many more. It is ideal to get away for a few days and change of scenery from the beaches of Denia.
