From there, if we want to travel around the island from the easternmost part, Santa Cruz de La Palma, to the westernmost part, Tazacorte, it will take us about 45 minutes by car, and if we travel from the northernmost part, Villa de Garafía, to the southernmost part, Fuencaliente, it will take us about two and a half hours. If you want to get lost in the most emblematic spots, make a stop in charming corners, the route will be longer. 

One of the places where you can get lost and explore the island's nature is the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. It is located at Km 23.900 on the LP-3, the road that links the two largest towns on the island: Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos de Aridane. To get to the Cumbrecita viewpoint, the most visited point, there is a 7 km road from the Visitor Centre to the viewpoint.
